No matter what we’re doing whilst out with a camera, we should always be looking for what there is around us. It’s so easy to head out with the intention of photographing something in particular, and then miss what could easily be the photo of the day.
Last week i helped my mate Gary do a fashion shoot for his son’s girlfriend. It was for part of her degree course at university. Whilst setting up the model in one location, there was large puddle that got in Gary’s way. As Gary found himself splashing around in it, i found myself looking for the reflections. In the moments when the water was nice and still, i took the opportunity to get a few decent photos. I think this one is the best of them.
It’s always worth keeping an eye out for that “something” extra!
